Getting Started

Markets, data, and workflows

How ChartGuru fits into your research process before you place a trade.

What is the difference between single-symbol research and cross-market discovery?
Single-symbol research is what you run on one ticker or pair—Technical Analysis on a chosen symbol, Guru reports on your watchlist, or the homepage Signal Summary demo. Cross-market discovery helps you find candidates across many names: Movers boards surface momentum across crypto and stocks, and the Indicator Index (on supported plans) aggregates signals across a full indicator library. Use discovery to find symbols; use single-symbol research to frame the trade with confidence, levels, and invalidation.
What data sources does ChartGuru use?
ChartGuru pulls market data from providers that vary by asset class—crypto, equities, FX, indices, and metals each may use different feeds. News and fundamental context for Guru and headline features come from licensed news and market-data partners. Exact providers can change as we expand coverage; the app always labels the asset, timeframe, and timestamp context on each read.
How fresh is the data?
Freshness depends on the asset, timeframe, and feature. Technical Analysis runs on the latest available candles at the moment you analyze, with server timestamps included in run exports. The public homepage Signal Summary refreshes on a schedule (typically every few hours when live data is available). Guru reports and news context reflect the most recent data available at generation time. ChartGuru does not guarantee fixed millisecond latency—check the timestamp on each output before acting.
Which markets and timeframes are supported?
ChartGuru covers crypto, stocks, FX pairs, indices, and metals (Gold and Silver). Timeframe and indicator access scale by plan—some intraday and higher-timeframe options are limited on Free or lower tiers. Metals and FX majors/crosses are supported with plan-based timeframe access. If you cannot find an asset you trade, contact us; we prioritize expansions based on demand and data availability.

AI Insights

Bias, confidence, and risk context

How ChartGuru turns indicators and context into analysis-only decision support.

How is directional bias determined?
ChartGuru combines multiple technical inputs—such as RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, EMA trend, Stochastic RSI, and ADX—into a weighted sentiment score that maps to buy, sell, or hold bias. Component signals must agree for stronger conviction; conflicting indicators reduce the score. Guru reports add fundamental and news context on top of technical reads. The homepage demo uses a similar agreement-weighted approach. Outputs are decision support—you verify every setup against your own process.
What does the confidence score mean?
Confidence reflects signal strength and agreement across the inputs behind a read—not a guarantee of profit. Use it to compare setups, filter weak ideas, and decide when you need more confirmation. A high score still requires your own risk rules because markets can move against any thesis. Treat confidence as a ranking aid, not certainty.
How is risk/reward calculated?
On Technical Analysis, ChartGuru derives risk/reward from suggested entry, stop (invalidation), and target levels: reward is the distance to the target, risk is the distance to the stop, and R:R is reward divided by risk. Landing and Guru outputs emphasize invalidation and key levels even when a numeric R:R ratio is not shown. You size positions and set stops—you stay responsible for every trade.
Is ChartGuru analysis-only?
Yes. ChartGuru does not execute trades, hold custody, or push one-click actions. Every read includes directional bias, confidence, key levels, and invalidation so you can accept, reject, or refine the idea on your own broker. Read more about the analysis-only model at /analysis-only.

Plans, billing, and exports

Free tier access, upgrades, and exporting your research for review.

Can I export data to CSV?
Yes, on supported surfaces. Technical Analysis runs can export a CSV with symbol, timeframe, indicator, run metadata, signal, price, and risk metrics for desk audit. Portfolio holdings can export to CSV from the portfolio view. Export availability and any plan limits are shown in-app on those screens—features and caps scale by subscription tier.
What does the free plan include?
The Free plan lets you explore ChartGuru with no credit card required. You get access to core research workflows with monthly limits on analyses, Guru subscriptions, and advanced features. Paid tiers unlock higher limits, alerts, intraday metals on supported plans, and more. Compare current limits on the Pricing page.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Visit Pricing to compare tiers, or open Subscription in your account after signing in. Starter includes a 7-day trial; Professional and Enterprise require payment before upgraded access begins. You can manage billing through Stripe from your account settings.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel anytime from account settings or the Stripe customer portal. You keep access through the end of your current billing period and will not be charged again unless you renew. The Free plan remains available if you downgrade or cancel a paid subscription.
